Conflicts

The world is becoming a smaller place as globalization and technological advances have made it easier and more convenient to interact with each other. As people from diverse cultures, societies and values become acquainted, conflicts can arise over misunderstandings between different people who are not comfortable with each other. These conflicts are not helped by the problems that are inherent to the developing world including; poverty, malnourishment, environmental disasters and radical terrorism. New ideas and perspectives must be adopted for these conflicts to be resolved without violent consequences. If we can counteract these conflicts by emphasizing the importance of education, nutrition, the environment and intercultural tolerance and acceptance, we may find a way to reduce the unnecessary violence that exists today.
